Engaging and participating in the Sunday Eucharist

ALTAR SERVERS -

Parish boys and girls who have completed the 5th grade assist the priest/deacon at daily, weekend and Holy Day Masses, Weddings, Funerals and special liturgies.

CANTORS, CHOIRS -

Members of the Adult, Bell, Funeral, Guitar, Youth choirs and instrumental musicians lead the congregation in music during liturgical celebrations.

LECTORS-

Trained parishioners share God's word by proclaiming the first and second readings during the Liturgy of the Word.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS -

Trained parishioners who assist the priests/deacons in the sharing of the Body & Blood of our Lord during Mass and at Communion Services.

GIFT BEARERS –

Individuals or families are invited to bring forth the gifts of the bread and wine to the altar during the Offertory.

GREETERS/USHERS -

Parishioners greet all as they enter church, assist with seating as needed, take up the collection, assist members who partake in communion, hand out weekend bulletins and assist (if needed) to any emergency or special needs during liturgies.

SACRISTANS/HEAVENLY DUSTERS -

Parishioners who keep our church, vestments and linens neat and clean.

LITURGY COMMITTEE –

Meets monthly to coordinate the liturgical life of our parish. Members represent the choirs, liturgical ministers and all parishioners in planning liturgical and spiritual events.

ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE -

A group of committed and creative people who work with liturgical colors, fabric, flowers, and other artistic media to beautify the worship space of our parish.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD – Young children 6 or over

have the opportunity to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word in an age appropriate level held in the lower level of the church at the 10:30AM Mass.
